Sava Residential Expo 2026
Yesterday the Surveyr team headed to the Coventry Building Society Arena for the SAVA Residential Expo 2026, the UK's gathering for residential surveying professionals. The event opened with a well attended exhibitor evening on 5 October, a fantastic chance to meet fellow exhibitors and early arrivals in a relaxed setting, before a full day of conversations, demos and talks on 6 October. We came away tired but thoroughly energised.
The conference programme reflected where the profession is heading. Sessions on building pathology drew keen audiences, and the AI in surveying talk was one of the busiest of the day, a clear sign of how much appetite there is across residential surveying for practical, trustworthy technology. It was also noticeable how many software companies were in the room this year, more than ever before. A healthy, growing ecosystem is good news for surveyors, and it made the conversations on our stand all the more valuable.
On the stand, the response to Surveyr was brilliant. Delegates saw the platform working live and the reaction was consistently one of surprise and enthusiasm, with many telling us it does more than the software they had seen elsewhere. Interest came from across the profession, from newly qualified sole practitioners setting up on their own to established surveying firms, and age made no difference to appetite for new technology, with plenty of keen interest from experienced surveyors.
The results speak for themselves. We signed up lots of new testing partners to our testing community, our eBook downloads rose sharply, and we have a long list of new connections and follow-up conversations to take forward. Our industry visibility has taken a real step up, and we have been given plenty to think about as we shape what comes next.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, to the SAVA team for a superbly run event, and to our new testing partners for putting their trust in us. If you missed us, you can download our eBook, AI in Building Surveying: Why Context Changes Everything, from our website, or get in touch to find out how to join the testing community. Exciting times ahead.
